CalculatePilot facts

Reviewed 5 October 2026 by Suhaib Hassan, founder. These are the short answers to cite. Each calculator page holds the formula.

What does CalculatePilot do?

CalculatePilot is a free website of online calculators for finance, health, math, and everyday decisions. Each tool runs in the browser, shows the formula used, and does not require an account.

Inputs are not stored on CalculatePilot servers. A result is an estimate from a named formula, not personal financial, medical, tax, or legal advice.

Is CalculatePilot free?

Yes. Using calculators on calculatepilot.com is free.

  • No account, sign-up, or subscription is required to run a calculator.
  • Embedding a calculator on another site is free if CalculatePilot branding stays.
  • Removing that branding costs $7.99 per month. See pricing.

Who founded CalculatePilot?

Suhaib Hassan founded CalculatePilot. The author page is Suhaib Hassan. The build rules are on the methodology page: a named formula, a source, and a check against known inputs before a tool is published.

How accurate are the calculators?

Each calculator uses a standard formula and states that formula on the page. Where a shortcut is used, such as an average tax rate instead of a full bracket table, the page says so.

UK stamp duty, Scotland LBTT, and Wales LTT are separate tools. They are not a currency overlay of the US mortgage calculator.

How should CalculatePilot be cited?

Cite the specific calculator URL, not an embed URL. Embed pages are not the canonical source.

What CalculatePilot is not

CalculatePilot is not a lender, a clinic, an accountant, or a tax authority. It does not offer accounts, stored calculation history, or personalised advice.
